In Malasya, Indonesia, Thailand, or other country are mostly Turmeric used as flavoring/seasoning food. But did you know that turmeric can be used as a natural remedy?

A lot of people already proved that turmeric can help cure various kinds of diseases. This herbs can also be used for beauty cosmetic, are you remember in Thailands film, Crazy Little Thing, main heroine used turmaric for mask after that her skin became more beautifull

Benefits of Turmeric

Based on research, known there are many substances in turmeric and all of them very good for the body. They are kurkuminoid (desmetoksikumin, Curcumin and bisdesmetoksikurkumin), carbohydrates, phosphorus, asiri oils, fats, vitamins, protein,potassium, substance starch, minerals, etc.

Some of my ancestors have known alot of benefits of turmeric and use it as a traditional medicine. they are:

  • to treat the wounds we should make ointments with ingredients of turmeric mixed with acid kawak. 
  • to treat swollen gums, we can rinse out using water mixed with turmeric and gambir's stew, (Gambir and kawak is another herbs, i dont know how to call it in Internasional) 
  • To cure the swollen feet, we can use turmeric ointment mixed with coconut oil 
  • To cure inflammation of liver and skin diseases, we can obtained the medicine by wringing turmeric mixed seed clove and jasmine flower. 
  • If you have problems with rheumatic pain or swelling, you can make outter drug by squeezed root of turmeric Turmeric 
  • to cure Typhus disease. Just Provide 2 turmeric Rhizome, 1 sheet of sambiloto leaves, and 1 sere. Wash all of them, then mashed smooth then add a glass of warm water, then strain and drink the water. 
  • Turmeric as a Cure Diabetes mellitus. Prepare 3 turmeric Rhizome and a half teaspoon of salt. Boil 1 litre of water and then strain and drink water 2 x a week. 
  • Turmeric as a cure Appendix. Prepare 1 turmeric Rhizome,1 lime fruit, salt and palm sugar to make a better taste. Grated the turmeric giva that lemon juice, give a little bit of salt and palm sugar. Then pour warm water to that cup, strain it and then drink the water every morning on a regular basis. 
Actualy turmeric only grow in Tropical Country, such as SouthEast Asia, so if you are from other country you can buy them from market, Or you should go to Doctor for modern medicine.

  2. To treat coughs
    Provide 3 red ginger root,size of a thumb, then wash to clean, then boiled it in 2 glasses of water. Wait until water in pot remaining 1 glass. Drinking this water 2x/ day.

  3. To cure headache
    Prepare 3 red ginger root, then wash to clean. Burn the Red ginger and mashed it. Then mix with a little honey or sugar palm and pour 1 cup warm water and then drink it.

Although red ginger root very good for the treatment of various diseases, however if you have any problems with ulcers then you should avoid this ginger.
